Beta Grape

Vitis x 'Beta'

3 Blue-black This hardy grape is a hybrid between the Native Grape and the Concord Grape with quality similar to Ontario blue grapes.  An excellent choice for making wine and jelly. Also makes an excellent climbing vine where privacy is desired.
Frontenac Grape

Vitis x 'Frontenac'

4 Reddish- purple A red wine grape of very good quality. A hardy and vigorous grower with a good resistance to powdery mildew. 
Minnesota 78 Grape

Vitis     'Minnesota 78'

4 Reddish - purple The Minnesota 78 is a very productive grape but it  requires another grape for pollinating. The fruit is  sweeter and larger than Beta. 
Native Grape

Vitis riparia

2 Blue This grape has attractive, lustrous foliage and produces small tart fruit that is excellent for wine or jelly.  Pick fruit after the first frost.
Valiant Grape

Vitis x 'Valiant'

3 Blue- purple Free of astringency with  skin that does not adhere to the flesh. This prolific grape is an annual bearer that matures slightly sooner than other varieties.  The fruit has an excellent flavor making it good for both wine and jelly.  The plant can be used as a climber on archways.
