ORNAMENTAL SHRUB

SPIRAEA: SPIREA

A stunning shrub that explodes with color.  With masses of showy blooms and breathtaking foliage colors, the Spirea makes a great feature or accent shrub. The flowers come in two colors - white and pink.  The white flowers  bloom in the spring on old wood and the pink flowers bloom in the summer on new wood.  Remove spent flowers to encourage 2nd flush of flowers.   For more color in the gold foliage, plant in a sunny spot.  Leaves tend to turn greener in the shade.
