Knautia/Mars Midget
	These rich, crimson red flowers rise up on long stems above the bushy foliage.
Plant in full sun or partial shade.

Lamium
	A showy carpet forming plant with neat variegated foliage.  Hooded flower spikes

Lavandula/English
 	Famous for it's scent, English Lavender is used as a dried flower in potpourri. 
Also makes a nice fresh cut flower.  Showy spikes of lavender-blue flowers attract butterflies
and hummingbirds.  The narrow, aromatic leaves are a beautiful silvery grey color.

Leontopodium/Edelweiss
 	Edelweiss is a native to the Swiss Alps and makes an excellent addition to a rock garden.
This woolly plant has white flowers which are star-shaped and silver-grey leaves.  It is very 
important that Edelweiss has good drainage.  Prefers full sun.

Limonium/Statice
	Sea lavender is known for its  billowy sprays of tiny flowers that grow on tall spikes.
They have a papery texture which makes them great for drying. It has leathery basal leaves 
that are dark green in color.  Very similar to the Sea Lavender, German Statice flowers 
grow in flat-topped triangular sprays which are silvery-grey in color.

Lychnis/Campion	
	 The Maltese Cross, an erect plant with rounded clusters of foliage, has flowers 
that grow in clusters on long stems.  The flowers on the Vesuvius, however, grow in loose 
clusters at the end of short stems.  The Vesuvius is a clump forming plant, with clusters
of brownish- green foliage.

                              Lysimachia/Loosestrife
