MUGO PINE        
Mugo Pine

Pinus mugo mughus

5-15' x 5-10' 2 Bright green foliage A dwarf  two-needled pine that grows in a wide spreading habit.  This mushroom shaped plant can be sheared regularily when the candles are soft in order to maintain its density as well as to maintain the desired height. This very hardy, popular ornament makes a great screen for large yards & parks.

3-5' x 4-6' 2 Bright green This dense, smaller version of the  Mugo Pine is especially attractive in early summer when new candles of growth appear. It is well suited for rock gardens.
